The Environmental Management Authority (EMA) is a statutory body of the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. We are stewards of our natural resources and environment.  The Authority began operations in 1995 and now facilitates cooperation among Government agencies, NGOs and community-based organisations. The EMA is mandated to write and enforce laws and regulations for environmental management (Environmental Management Act, Chapter 35:05 of 2000), to educate the public about the country’s environmental issues and to control and prevent pollution, as well as conserve natural resources.  A series of institutional linkages have been established locally, regionally and internationally and we are pleased to exhibit at LACCCB 2018.
